Statistics, Politics, and Policy is a new journal that publishes articles in which good statistical analysis informs matters of public policy and politics. As an open source electronic journal, published by The Berkeley Electronic Press, Statistics, Politics, and Policy has many advantages—there is no limit on length nor any restriction on color, there is quick publication, higher citation rates from Internet access, public software, posted datasets, and so forth.
Statistics, Politics, and Policy will publish applied research articles that explore the implications of statistical thinking and methods applied to public policy issues. The journal will also publish engaging commentary pieces and innovative policy ideas on the public issues of the day where statistics plays, or ought to play, a role. Visit the journal's Aims & Scope for more details about the papers we plan to publish.
The journal's first articles will be available in summer 2010. To stay notified, please sign up for email alerts by entering your e-mail address in the right-hand sidebar.
