About this Journal
Among the top three most-cited legal theory and jurisprudence journals in the world, and first among all non-US English language journals (according to the Washington & Lee Ranking System), Theoretical Inquiries in Law specializes in the application to legal problems of insights developed in other disciplines, such as political theory, economics, sociology, history, philosophy and psychology. Issues include such current issue topics as the excessive use of force, personal bankruptcy, the nature of citizenship, the role of moral and legal luck, and explorations on legal pluralism, privatization of law, and multiculturalism. Theoretical Inquiries in Law provides a unique, multi-disciplinary forum in which to investigate the relationships between law, society and individuals. The journal publishes peer-reviewed responses in its online-only companion, TIL Forum, a format which allows for immediate discussion. Theoretical Inquiries in Law is edited by The Cegla Center for Interdisciplinary Research of the Law, Tel Aviv University.
