About the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics Working Paper Series

The members of the department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center are involved in several multi-disciplinary research projects which often give rise to methodological problems. Our working paper series reflect this emphasis on applications of novel statistical methods.

The methodologic research interests in our department span many areas of biostatistics relevant to the research conducted in the Center, including prevention (epidemiology and genetics), diagnosis, and treatment (clinical trials), and other specialized topics such as health outcomes, genomics and the analysis of observational studies. Topics receiving particular attention include clinical trials, survival analysis, designs for identifying new genetic markers, analysis of high-throughput experiments, clustered data, diagnostic tests, Bayesian methods, penetrance and relative risk estimation.
