Abstract

The book Homeland Security Law and Policy presents exhaustive information about the development of Homeland Security as a field and the authorities of the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, one of its components. It cogently raises policy issues such as the balance between security and civil liberties and the effectiveness of a large and complex organization.
