Mission of the Institute

The mission of the Institute is to promote the safe and responsible use of Chinese medicines. Important to this mission is the generation of credible (or reliable) evidence from fundamental and clinical research that are supported by a strong national and international collaborative network, translation of this evidence to the consumer community, and training of highly qualified personnel to add capacity of those engaged in research, product development and regulation, education advocacy on the use of Chinese medicinal products through out Canada.
