Enhancing Baccalaureate Nursing Information Technology Outcomes: Faculty Perspectives
Abstract
Baccalaureate nurses must be prepared to meet information technology expectations for practice and future professional development. Therefore, educational programs must evaluate curriculum and student outcomes and address areas for improvement. Faculty members were surveyed regarding barriers and strategies for improving information technology outcomes. Project findings have educational, clinical agency, legal, and policy implications.Submitted: May 9, 2007 · Accepted: February 14, 2008 · Published: February 19, 2008
