Drying of Food Materials

Preface

We are very pleased to present this special issue of International Journal of Food Engineering consisting of selected peer-reviewed papers from the 5th Asia-Pacific Drying Conference, ADC07, held 12-14 August 2007 on the campus of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The 10 papers included here are chosen out of the 195 papers presented at the conference. The large number of papers presented at ADC07 reflects favorably both the quality of the conference and the extent of drying activities in this region with food processing sharing a large portion. Additional selected papers are scheduled to be published in three other archival journals.
