Abstract

The theme of The Trial on Trial: Volume 3 is the creation of a normative theory of the criminal trial. The previous books took the form of edited volumes with contributions from various commentators, whereas volume three is a co-authored monograph. Overall, this book is an interesting opening salvo in what will undoubtedly be an emerging debate about the criminal trial as an entity.
