Chemical Product and Process Modeling News
Process Design from the World Chemical Engineering Conference 2009, Montreal. Call for papers.
Process Design
Introduction
The WCCE8 Symposium on Process and Product Modeling, Simulation and Design in Montreal 2009 offers a unique opportunity to focus on a comprehensive participation and learning experience over the full range and diversity of methods in the broad fields of process modeling and their use for design, simulation, optimization and control of chemical processes. This topical conference is dedicated, although not restricted, to the following:
- Equation oriented and modular computer-aided product and process simulation
- Optimization technology for process and materials design, new modeling techniques
- Shortcut modeling approaches
- Performance of commercial and in-house simulation and optimization tools
- Challenges faced in industrial product and process simulation and optimization
- Computational fluid dynamics
