The B.E. Journal of Economic Analysis & Policy now in the Social Science Citation Index
The Thomson/ISI Social Science Citation Index (part of the Web of Science) will now index all three B.E. economics journals:
- The B.E. Journal of Economic Analysis & Policy
- The B.E. Journal of Macroeconomics
- The B.E. Journal of Theoretical Economics
The B.E. journals are bepress's flagship economics journals. Launched in 2001 and 2002, they were the first generation of high quality, reasonably priced, electronic-only journals, and have since revolutionized economics publishing, with decision turnarounds in 10 weeks, prices at less than half the industry average, and the top editors and authors in the field.
Coverage in the Social Science Citation Index will start with 2007 articles. Impact factors will be assigned in the 2009 Journal Citation Reports.
