About this journalBusiness and Politics (BAP) publishes articles within the broad area of the interaction between firms and political actors. Two specific areas are of particular interest to the journal. The first concerns the use of non-market corporate strategy. The second involves efforts by policymakers to influence firm behavior through regulatory, legal, financial, and other government instruments. Recent articles concern private regulation in the global economy, human rights and economic liberalization, and transnational corporate motivations and strategies. The journal also publishes selected cases and commentaries on the interaction of politics and corporate strategy. The journal is edited by Vinod K. Aggarwal (UC Berkeley), a leading expert in international business and public policy.
